Can you help me understand my invoice? 2016-12-20T23:29:42+00:00

There are several fees that we must look at when determining your bill. Here are some of those fees:

  • A $10.00 charge for late night (after midnight) pickups and early morning (before 5am) pickups.
  • A 7% fuel surcharge is added on a month to month basis, only if fuel goes above $4.00/gal.
  • The Gratuity (tip) is 20% of the base rate.
  • The 8% service charge is a typical business fee for all credit card charges, due to the banks holding our money until payment is sent to us.
  • There is a $15.00 charge for any extra stop, within a zone (city) that the chauffeur has to make during a client’s ride.
  • There is a $15.00 charge added to the base rate, for any child or booster seat that we have to provide.
  • Tolls & Parking fees are charged to the base rate.
  • Sometimes there could be a charge for wait time of $12.00 for every 15 minutes . This usually happens when the chauffeur has to wait because the client is more than 15 minutes past their prearranged pickup time. For airport arrivals, Prime’s policy is a 30 minute grace period for all Domestic arrivals and 45 minutes for all International arrivals.

Can I set up an account so you can bill me? 2016-12-21T00:14:54+00:00

There are two types of rental accounts we have applications for. First is a Credit card account for an individual. You supply us with a credit card number that we will keep on file and bill during the months that you rent with us. Second, is a corporate account that you must fill out ahead of time to be processed; this is typically only for multiple users. Supply us with an email or fax number and we can send you either application.

What are your airport pickup procedures? 2016-12-20T23:35:03+00:00

In the Washington metro area, we service Dulles International, Baltimore & Washington International and Reagan National airports, as well as every regional or private terminal. Pickup at BWI & Dulles are always at your baggage claim carousel for domestic arrivals and Customs greeting area for international arrivals. We are not allowed to pick up at the curbside arrival area. The driver will be holding your name sign.

Reagan National allows for curbside pickup, so we ask the client to call our 800-241-9747 number after picking up your baggage. Upon calling our office, you will be asked which door number you will be exiting. Please exit to the outside second curb. Your driver will pull up to the curbside with your name sign in the side passenger window. If inside baggage claim pickup is requested, there will be a $10.00 additional fee to the base rate.

Do we have to pay for the extra time if traffic is bad? 2016-12-21T00:00:47+00:00

Yes! Since we cannot control traffic events and no organization seems to be able to, the client is responsible for the time they are renting the vehicle on all hourly trips.

What extra charges may occur while we are renting one of your vehicles? 2016-12-20T23:53:04+00:00

You will be charged for any tolls incurred during your car rental. There is a $250.00 cleaning fee for any extraordinary mess.  Examples include: stains due to client spilling a staining beverage, client throwing up, smoking, etc. Fees for damage incurred to our vehicle by client or their guests, Insurance claims, etc. During point-to-point transfers, any additional stops are charged $15.00 per.

Can we drink alcohol in your vehicles? 2016-12-21T00:08:59+00:00

No. There are parameters. We, by law, cannot provide you with alcohol. That requires a Beverage License. Secondly, no one underage is allowed to drink alcohol in our vehicles. Our Drivers have been trained to card anyone looking 25 years or younger. If clients try to break this law, our Drivers have been instructed to pull over and stop the vehicle. Any continued underage drinking in our vehicles will result in the client being immediately returned to their pickup place and fully charged for the rental. Due to the Open Container law there is no drinking of alcohol is our sedans or vans.

If we book your vehicle for 4 hours and want it longer, can we use it longer? 2016-12-21T00:09:44+00:00

That depends on whether there is another booking after yours. Usually that is not a problem. We understand there are times when events may run long. We allow you a 15-minute grace period to run over. At 16 minutes you will be charged for an additional hour.

Can we smoke in your vehicles? 2016-12-21T00:11:15+00:00

No.  All of our vehicles are Non-smoking vehicles because it is so difficult to get the smell out once smoking has occurred in them. Should your guests decide to smoke anyway, there will be a $250.00 cleaning fee added to your credit card bill.

Can Prime help me with car services in other cities? 2016-12-21T00:27:15+00:00

Prime Executive Transportation Services has a network of ‘hand-picked’ affiliates in 400 cities across the U.S. Every one of these affiliates has been personally qualified by Prime’s Management Team. Each one has met the high standards for car services that you have come to know through your travels with us.

Every Affiliate is a leader in that city. They have been screened for qualified Insurance levels, new model Lincoln Series L and black sedans.  Professional chauffeurs in black suits carrying name signs will ‘meet & greet’ you at the baggage carousel and assist you with your luggage. Please give us 24-hour notice, if possible.  However, in a tight situation, we’ve arranged national rides in as little as 4 hours.
